Meet your mentor.
Ioana Petresco - Film director and mentor.
After exploring as a young adult, gymnastics and music professionally, Ioana Petresco studied Graphic Design and Animation at Bucharest National University of Arts. Still looking for “the perfect fulfilling career” she discovered video and film.
“Film brings together all the things that I love doing but I didn’t know how to bring together. Film involves music, dancing, fashion, visual arts and on top of that, with film, you can change people’s views on life. You can have a real impact in the world.”
After monetizing her filmmaking skills for 2 years and many projects later, she got a scholarship at New York Film Academy studying Film Directing.
Now she travels between Kiev and London as a filmmaker. She founded Visual Metaphor which she wants to transform into the dream online film school. “This is only the beginning.”
